Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland[2] (born 21 December 1966)[3] is a British and Canadian actor. He is best known for his starring role as Jack Bauer[4] in the Fox drama series 24 (2001–2010, 2014), for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award, and President Tom Kirkman in the ABC political drama series Designated Survivor.
